Calculations - Intersection

This Service allows for the calculation of Intersection Co-ordinates of two rays from different points. The method used in this service is the Tangent Method which was derived from the Join Formula. This Service now supports the new Point Memory function that enables you to save points for further use on this Website during this Session. (Saved data will be lost when this window is closed)

An Intersection tends to be more precise as the intersection angle of the two rays tends to 90° (perpendicular).
The points should normally be chosen such that the intersection angle lies between 30° and 150°. A geometric explanation for this principle is included.
